Pedro and Fabiola minister to immigrants

Evangelism has many forms, but each of them seek to bring lost people into the Kingdom of God. Jesus compared evangelism to fishing as he called Peter, Andrew, James, and John (Mark 1:17). Fish are very hard to catch without bait of some form, and so it is with people. As ambassadors of heaven, we work to meet the ultimate need of every person, ie. bringing them to saving knowledge of Jesus the Christ. But since the people we are sent to gather are both lost and dead according to the Scriptures, they are unaware of their condition and their ultimate need. People do respond to what they believe their need to be, so evangelists throughout the Church age have found creative means to meet the need that people can feel so that they will listen to the life giving word from Heaven about the need to be reconciled with God through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We do that all of the time. Many of our reports major on the benevolence work that attracts groups or crowds. This benevolence opens hearts to listen to the presentation of the Gospel. Evangelism done in faith and love pleases the Lord. Thank you for sending us into the Lord’s harvest field.

Pedro and Fabiola have been working with one of the feeding centers in Piedras Negras where the immigrants congregate along their journey in hopes of gaining asylum in the USA. The process of gathering, engaging, feeding, clothing, ministering, preaching, teaching, and healing is a constantly repeated cycle, casting the net and bringing in the harvest. In many cases, we are only one witness along the way to Salvation. Paul testifies that one plants, another waters, and God gives the increase.
