Though the flood of immigrants into our country is a reminder of the breech of trust between the people of the USA and their government. The flood of people is an invasion that is intended to fundamentally change the country. I believe that God has other plans for the country, the government, the cartels, and the immigrants. There are other impacts that are not usually considered by the citizens of the USA, such as the impact that the traffic has on Mexico. Though I have little knowledge of what happens on the way to the US border, the caravans gather and congest at the border. This is where most of our staff and associates are stationed, so it is an opportunity to reach them with the Gospel. They seek to enter the USA because they are suffering under the thumb of the gods of their countries and their ancestors. They need Jesus. We know that Jesus can deliver them from false gods and unravel even the worst problems that people have. He is Lord of all, so these people need to meet and be reconciled to the God who is willing and able to help them with their lives. He wants to make them part of his Kingdom. We cannot stop them from coming to the border or from entering the USA, we can minister Jesus to them as they pass by. For my part, I had rather encounter a saved immigrant than a desperate unsaved immigrant. So even though it is not popular to help them, we work with them to win them to Jesus. This involves mercy and benevolence ministry. Thank you for your prayers and support.
