Recently, Adolfo wrote to me about one of the many children who was impacted deeply by his ministry. I have edited the English for clarity. “More fruit, Brother…This Girl was nine when she came to the feeding center. She stayed and is there today. She lost her father in the pandemic, but Jesus was her strength and she stayed in school, finishing secondary school this semester. She invited me to be her Godfather because we as a ministry were always there for her and kept an eye on her family.”Her picture and her sister are included in his report.
She and her sister attended Escuela del Rey while it was opened. As a side note, the teachers have not been able to return, so Adolfo has turned to support children in other ways. We all deeply miss the school, which was a wonderful ministry, but we creatively move forward to new open doors to share the Gospel and make disciples for Christ.
