Truth exists and it is vital! Yet anyone who dares to speak the truth will be attacked as a hater. Truth and love are connected, but the love that backs truth is not accommodation or even niceness. This love is a commitment to the highest good of the one to whom the truth is addressed. I believe that heaven and hell are realities, and that both are beyond the scope of human understanding. Heaven is good to the limit of God’s imagination, not yours. Likewise, Hell is bad to the limit of God’s imagination, not yours. Because I believe the Bible, and I love the people for whom Christ died, I am compelled to stand up and declare the truth. If I hated the people who count me as their enemy, I would be silent. There would be no warning, I would just be laughing up my sleeve at them, knowing their destiny. But that would make me guilty, and I do love them. So, I can’t remain silent. Also understand that Jesus’ ministry was not about love and tolerance. Mark 1: 15 says “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel”. Jesus preached the kingdom of God and repentance.
Truth and integrity matter. Both are under attack from all sides. Between the arguments regarding race, vaccination, “gender”, tolerance, etc. we are being pressed to take one side or the other. But we have been presented with false choices. Two plus two equals four. I will not admit to the equation resolving to five! Why? Because four is the correct, provable answer. Five is a false construct. For truth, I appeal to God. The God of the Bible has spoken into every facet of human existence. He told us that He made us, we did not make ourselves (Psalm 100:2), so we are accountable to him. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Every element, all matter and energy, every structure seen, or unseen was created by God out of nothing (Gen. 1:1). The first chapter of Genesis describes the process by which God organized the heavens and the earth into a temple suitable for him to inhabit. The seventh day was the most important since that was the day when the temple and the priesthood were complete and installed. God entered his temple and began to rule. That is called rest in the ancient world. [for more, see The Lost World of Genesis One by John Walton.] He made them male and female (Gen 5:2). This divides the race of man into male and female. Any other “construct” is phony or outright hypocritical (professing to be one thing but being another). I heard an interview in which a man claimed to be a licensed M.D. i.e., a physician. In the interview, he claimed that biological gender is a false construct. Assuming that the man is indeed licensed, we know from his testimony that either he is not a competent physician, or that he is a liar; perhaps both.
I could go on to the nonsense that was spewed by the government over COVID. Yes, the disease was a bad one, but it was deliberately released, and plans were laid for it as far back as 2000 according to spike protein patents owned by Dr. Fauci et.al. The real effective treatments were suppressed, and a poorly designed “vaccine” was rolled out under emergency authorization. And the venom against the vaccine hesitant was religious in character. The logic for forcing vaccination on the unvaccinated went something like: unvaccinated people are a threat to the public, even to the vaccinated. Wait a minute! Unvaccinated people chose to be unvaccinated, and if the vaccine works, why would any vaccinated person even worry about infection. [I do understand herd immunity, but I reject the logic as applied to an experimental, unproven vaccine.] But we all know by now that the vaccine did not work. In fact, according to a recent article in the Epoch Times, vaccinated people who were hospitalized were 8% more likely to die in the hospital than unvaccinated people. The disease killed by agency of the viral spike and pneumonia. What did the vaccine code for? Spike protein…Do the math. At the same time simple, cheap alternatives were forbidden and called disinformation, even though they were proven effective in other countries. I bring this up, because the powers who released COVID absolutely will do it again with another probably worse disease. The Government is not a reliable source of information. I recommend finding and listening to the prophets. They are more accurate and useful.
There is more, but the point is that the real attack on our thinking appears to be aimed at our integrity. Once we buy into any of the cultural lies that are so obviously lies, we lose our critical thinking. Jesus is the truth, and the truth makes objective sense in the real world. However, truth is very disruptive to lies. It has been said: “Ten thousand lies can nestle together quietly in one bed, but let truth enter the room and pandemonium breaks out!” I believe that we have been witnessing this very thing. There are people who have gathered a great deal of money and power by lying to us, but the truth will make us free. Jesus said “If you abide in my word, you are my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free (John 8:31,32 ESV). God has graciously given prophets and apostles to the Church so that we can gain insight into the plans of the wicked one and so we can know the plans of God for us, for the country, and for the world. Every prophetic word must be tested by the Word of God. Not everything that calls itself a prophet or apostle (or pastor for that matter) actually is. But the ministry of the prophet is intended to bring light to us on the strategies of heaven and hell. Without prophecy we would be forced to learn the news from the media, which is unwise. Freedom must be defended. Paul warned the Galatian church “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Gal 5:1 ESV). Freedom must be contended for. God will do what we cannot do but he will not do what he has commanded us to do. That is our job. Stand fast in truth, integrity, and liberty.
