Adolfo has access to many ministries in Piedras Negras as a result of his work with the Blessing Kitchen. He and his team produce 1,000 meals per week or more if they have the funds and labor. These meals are received and distributed by a wide variety of Christian ministries which reach out to the lost and to the children of the city. He and his team also minister the Gospel directly. Piedras Negras is a large city even though it is not gigantic. There are no sky scrapers, but there is a dense population with many colonias. Each of these neighborhoods is filled with people who need Jesus. They also need the ministry of loaves and fishes. The Gospel is powerful in its anointing to bring light into darkness, shalom into brokenness, prosperity into poverty, etc. overcoming evil with good. The Gospel brings the blessing, as Proverbs 10:22 says “The blessing of the Lord makes rich and he adds no sorrow with it.” God is like that. He is good, but men must choose him and refuse evil in order to receive the blessing.
