Adolfo works with Saritas ministry supplying food, evangelizing, and prayer for the sick in hospitals in Piedras Negras. Hungry Kids International has no affiliation with Saritas ministry, but we are affiliated with Adolfo’s ministry including the Blessing Kitchen. This post emphasizes the meals that the Blessing Kitchen provides to ministries like this so that they can visit the sick and minister the Gospel to them and to the families of the patients. People want prayer and they need some food while they are unable to work due to illness.
Adolfo did not provide details about the cases that are pictured in this post. However, the pictures are typical of scrapes and spider bites. The ankle presented is typical of the bite of a Brown Recluse spider, which is common in this area. These people are being treated in the clinics and hospitals throughout Piedras Negras. We are reaching them for Jesus.

Spider bites are treatable by natural methods. I use the herbs Plantain, Comfrey leaf/root, Lobelia, and Plantain in a poultice made with Aloe Vera gel mixed with powdered activated charcoal. The herbs bring the toxin to the surface, and the charcoal binds it so that is permanently removed from the body. The earlier the poultice is applied the better, but even bites in the condition pictured above, the poultice is helpful. It is antiseptic and has the power to draw the toxins from the bite back out of the body through the site of the bite. This treatment is also effective against Black Widow bites. The poultice is the major part of the treatment, but these bites damage internal organs also, so there are other treatments necessary for full recovery.
