Ministry to a woman who was a drug addict

Adolfo found a woman who lost custody of her children due to an addiction to drugs. He ministered to her and found that she is willing to be free and longs to be saved. He ministered to her and found a clinic for her. It is a very good clinic, so she is in good hands. The government promised that she could recover her children when she demonstrates that she is clean and stable. This kind of ministry requires a lot of money, and the risks are substantial, but Jesus sent all of us into the world to disciple the nations; not just the easy ones. We praise the Lord for supporting and upholding his ministry. Pray with us for Adolfo’s ministry (and our ministry to him), this woman, and her family. ³⁷ “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37

[The God of Jakob]…⁷ who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free; ⁸ the LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous. ⁹ The LORD watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. Psalms 146:7-9

People are quick to judge who is wicked and who is righteous, but the Lord sees things that no human can see. Where there is life there is hope, so the people of the Lord will look for opportunities to minister mercy while affirming righteous (Biblical) justice. We do that by waling in love, obeying the prompting of the Holy Spirit, and walking by faith in the word of God.

Update: The woman is adapting well to rehab. She has been worshiping the Lord in the church that Adolfo attends and works with. Adolfo has seen to it that she has been able to visit with her children. The picture of her with her two girls was taken in church. This support gives her hope for the future. Adolfo has supported this family by faith. One of the woman’s children is pictured with her grandmother. The children are staying with Adolfo’s family, so Victoria (Adolfo’s daughter) has some friends to play with. God is faithful, and we thank our partners for their part in helping this ministry to grow and strengthen.
