Though it is hot, there is still ministry to be done. Pedro and Fabiola work together to minister to the needs of the people so that they can then teach and preach the Gospel. Fabiola is teaching the people how to stay healthy by making better choices in their food, activities, exercise, hydration, sanitation, exposure to sunshine, and rest. Mexico is ranked #1 in the world for diabetes and pre-eclmpsia in pregnant women. This is due primarily to diet and soft drink consumption in the diet. Better choices can bring health to people into old age. The health message opens hearts to the Gospel. This feeding center is in a church anyway, so preaching is not a problem. The people readily hear what Pedro and Fabiola has to tell them about Jesus and the Kingdom of Heaven.
Every soul is more precious to the Lord than all of the physical substance of the universe. Only a human soul can choose to turn from selfish darkness to respond to the Gospel and become the New Creature in Christ Jesus. Thank you for helping us.
