This year’s crop is maturing. Pedro, Pedrito, and Zoe are pictured working the field. The community is also involved, as Pedro teaches organic farming techniques to many of the young people of the community. Most farmers are in their eighties or beyond, so new young blood is essential to avoid a food collapse. Organically grown food is superior in nutrition to what can be found in the grocery stores, making it ideal for medical treatment of metabolic diseases as well as for general nutrition. But of course, the best reason for anyone to do anything is obedience to the Lord. He has directed us to do this kind of work. He knows the future, and he knows what is useful to his kingdom.
There are many kinds of ministry that go on at the ranch. This is just one of them. Pedro has been recovering slowly from the gastric ulcer that has plagued him. Thank you for praying for him. God Bless you!
