Adolfo is still focusing on the neighborhood that has attracted 60 children and many of the mothers of the children. He celebrates Mother’s Day so as to minister to the mothers of these children. Teaching, evangelism, benevolence, and food only go so far without cooperation and reinforcement from the parents. These mothers have been responsive and happy to participate in these outreaches, since they make life easier for the family. We understand that many if not most of the people whom we help are simply receiving benevolence with no thought of changing their lives, but there are always some who do remain and bear fruit for the Kingdom. Jesus set the pattern for us in the parable of the sower. Most of the seed in the parable seems to be lost, but the seed that falls on noble ground more than makes up for the poor efficiency in seed economy. Jesus sends us, we go, we do what he asks us to do, we follow up, then we leave the results to him. As always, the Gospel is shared and prayer ministry is made available.
