Adolfo and his team minister to the widows, orphans, dispossessed, and anyone who will listen. Thank God for evangelists, the world needs them much more than it knows! Jesus is coming again to judge the world in righteousness and to establish his kingdom. The soon coming of Jesus usually is easy for skeptics to mock, but it will not always be so. The world is getting crazy enough for even cynical street people to realize that this world is out of control. Government policies all over the world are impoverishing multitudes, and the cartels are openly fighting each other for control of cities and regions. Jesus said that one of the signs of the end will be that men’s hearts fail them for fear of the things that are coming upon the earth. Even so, God’s people need not live in fear. In this kind of environment kindness motivating the preaching of sin, righteousness, and judgement is getting the attention of at least those who used to be prosperous, but who are now poor. In addition, the immigration invasion is effecting Mexico at least as much as it is the USA, so there are economic, social, and political problems. This highlights a deep spiritual hunger that longs to be filled. Only Jesus can fill both that longing and the physical needs that result from the losses that lead to living in the street. The Mexico/USA border region provides a rare opportunity for evangelists to minister the Gospel to people from many countries. As multitudes seek to enter the USA, we have the opportunity to encounter them, meet their needs, and introduce them to Jesus. Thank you for helping us to be there, working for the Kingdom of God.
These pictures were taken in one of the neighborhoods of Piedras Negras. For the privacy of the families, I have not named it. And yes, I know that the foods that are being handed out are not health foods, but they are what we have available. As such, we are very thankful that we have them. As you can see, the children are also thankful! God Bless you, partners!
