Dr. Albert and Alice Romo are purchasing and distributing school supplies to children in several villages of Northern Coahuila, Mexico. Each year, the villages ask for their help to equip the children for school. Harvest Ministries has been providing school supplies and other useful things to the children and their families for many years. In years past, while we were still receiving and distributing food and supplies for the children’s homes that we operated, Dr. Romo would frequently come by to receive food, school supplies, and any medical supplies that we had to send with him. He would take these into Mexico and either distribute them or gather the community children and have a teaching session in which he shared the Gospel. He is still doing this, but he is having to buy the supplies now. The support that we send to them each week helps them to continue their work, so thank you for partnering with us in the Gospel. There is much more to Harvest Ministries than this, as other posts have demonstrated, but I wanted to communicate that they love the children as Jesus taught us to do. We no longer have the facilities to receive loads of food and supplies in Quemado as we did in previous years, but we are able to buy the materials that we need in Mexico. This blesses the economy in Mexico and provides the things that are most useful to the families that we help.
