Adolfo found a family who had suffered the destruction of their house. He considered raising money and rebuilding this house for the family, but the Lord did not give him peace to do that. He does plan to help them with some materials so that they can participate in rebuilding their lives. That will still require money for the project to come in. We must be lead by the Holy Spirit in all of our dealings, since there is no way for us to know the history or motives of the people we are sent to minister to. The Lord knows everything, and he is faithful to tell us what we need to know without revealing details that are not our business. He is considerate. Love always reaches out, so we do. But we know and understand that it is Jesus who saves people; we are only his hands and feet. Thank you, partners for sending us into the mission field. Every need becomes an opportunity to minister the goodness of God.
This tragedy appears to have been a fire. These are common in Mexico due to desperate people trying to keep warm in weather that is much colder than they are acclimated to. This family has cleared the foundation and is proceeding to rebuild. Adolfo has provided some coats and household supplies.
