New mother finds shelter where she can be discipled

Arely came to Piedras Negras hoping to find asylum in the US. She came with her son and daughter, traveling on one meal per day — She was a pregnant single mom. Adolfo and Rosita found her and helped her. She is now a Believer and her third child was born last month. But she needed a place to stay that was near medical care for herself and for her new daughter. We had a place for her at Casa del Rey in El Moral, but there is not a hospital close by in El Moral, so Adolfo introduced her to a church in Piedras which took her in with her family. This arrangement not only provides shelter, but she is being discipled in her walk with God. Praise God for his provision and his kindness. Thank you for your prayers and support. Life with Christ makes all things new no matter what the future holds for this family.

Arely and her family are received with joy into the congregation.

Note: People are still wearing masks in Mexico due to the health risks that COVID presents to people who have poor cardiovascular health. The highest risk for morbidity and mortality is for the obese, diabetic, elderly, or immune compromised. Unfortunately, the common diet of the Mexican people amplifies these health risks.
