The young single mother who we told you about last month is still receiving ministry help and is still responsive to the Gospel. Norma is delivering support to her. Adolfo and his team have been ministering to this family. You can look into the faces of this mother and her daughter and see that Jesus has changed her. She now has hope for the future and a reason to live. People who come to know the Lord as Savior, Provider, Shepherd, Master, and Friend are much more likely to choose the blessing that comes with the Gospel than they are to cynically look to the governments for a living. The Gospel is the antithesis of Socialism.
True, we believers are supporting her today, but the Gospel will change her into a productive member of society. Over the years, we have noticed that when people are so notably saved and changed, they tend to return to their countries of origin to evangelize their families and villages.
