Angelica and Felipe adopted Priscila when the children’s home closed so that she would not have to go into the child welfare system. Angelica has raised her since she was a few months old, but she contracted meningitis shortly after birth causing severe brain damage prior to her being sent to the Children’s Home. Our staff did their best to help her and have been raising her ever since. She is twenty years old now, but she still needs much care. There are two women (Mague and Erica) who also grew up in our home who take care of Priscila.
She is pictured in a shop in Piedras Negras, along with Mague, and in the living room of the parsonage at Casa Del Rey in El Moral. She is playing with some of her cousins. She has been raised with support from our partners. Even though Felipe is generating income, the campus still depends on support. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
