Pedro and Fabiola are Medical Missionaries. Their mission station is Rancho Jovenes del Rey. For those of you who have been following this ministry for more than 10 years you might remember that Rancho Jovenes del Rey was the boy’s home for young boys while it was a children’s home.
The students are people from the local area and a far as Piedras Negras who want to be trained in how to care for themselves using natural methods. This training is Christian Naturopathic medicine as opposed to the tribal medicine that is so common in Mexico. The principles of health are drawn from the Eden environment. Self control, faith in God, and faith in the Word of God are part of the training. Much of natural medicine involves proper diet, so the course involves agricultural training and basic herbology. This approach gives us an opportunity to present the Gospel to adults, many of whom have children.
