Ramon and Norma minister to groups of people who have come from mostly Spanish America, but also those who come from all over the world. These people are hoping to enter the United States, but the border does slow them down. While they are waiting, we have an opportunity to reach out to them with the Gospel. Most of the Spanish people are conservative in their beliefs and practices at home. Even though most of them are Catholic, they need to hear the Gospel. In most cases, these people have no understanding of the person of Jesus, the integrity of the Word of God, or the connection between Ten Commandment Law and liberty (with the accompanying prosperity). We have to opportunity to minister to many of them. Of course, we must meet their needs in order to get their attention, but they have little else to do beside listening, so the harvest is ripe.
