Even though it is hot there are still people who need ministry, and Adolfo seeks them out. Jesus told Peter to “Feed my lambs” which, of course refers to the ministry of the Word of God, which we do, but it also includes meeting the physical needs of people who can be reached by the kindness of benevolence ministry . Each time we minister, we share the Gospel in faith that lives are being changed. One of the things that is impressive to me about Adolfo’s ministry is his persistence. He finds out what the people need, works on meeting the need, returns to minister to them, then he follows up for years until he is satisfied that the people are stable in the care of a good pastor or until he is no longer able to reach them.
