Ramon and Norma have started tutoring children since school is out. The families of these children cannot afford tutoring, so the parents are delighted with this opportunity. The school system in Mexico is different from ours in the US (not all bad!), and one difference is the financial burden that parents must bear to educate their children. Public schools provide the structure, curriculum, buildings, teachers, etc., but the children must pay tuition, transportation, food, and supplies. No free tutoring programs are provided by the school system, so the opportunity to minister to students presents itself regularly. Both Norma and Ramon are good teachers. Furthermore, Norma is a very good preacher. She is more effective as a street preacher than many preachers. Go Norma!
Norma looks stern in some of the pictures, but she is not angry…seriously 🙂
Thank you partners for helping us to send and support these missionaries. God Bless you.
