Adolfo, being an evangelist, often partners with local pastors in whose ministry he has confidence. This kind of teamwork makes the efforts much more productive than simply establishing rapport with the community, then not having the means to offer discipleship teaching. In this neighborhood, the people are hungry for the word of God. Of course they are interested in the supplies, food, toys, etc. that the team brings (it is expensive, thank you for helping him, partners), but the people know that they need God. This team preached the Gospel, prayed for the needs of the people, and gave them hope in this dark world. There are people who will be in heaven as a result of your partnership with this work. That goes for the other teams and ministries that we work with and support.
In most of our work, so far, the children and their mothers are the easiest to attract and reach, but we need to reach the men in order to secure generational stability for their families. The family is the foundational stabilizer for communities, clans, tribes, and nations. The healthier it is, the healthier the society is.
